Location is perfect as I going through chemotherapy, monitoring, and follow ups. Cost is acceptable to me as I'm on limited income and drive 4.5 hours one way to receive this medical care. So I need to stay in a hotel the night before my apointment. When I get my room, the room is spotless, thanks to Kala that she takes extra care to clean and maintain it, she is so pleasant when I talk with her and is most attentive and helpfull. The room is close to my vehicle in the handicap parking slot. Thank you, Kala for always caring so much, in looking after me.
I have been a customer of the Red Roof Inn Plus off of Hampton and 44 in South St Louis for the past 3 to 4 years. This hotel has recently been acquired by new owners and it has had a major positive effect on how things are run and the crowd of people who rent rooms here. Housekeeping is more efficient and keep the rooms cleaner. However since the rooms are getting a bit older it could use some rehabbing. The rates are more competitive than they had been in the past and now accept cash payments which is very convenient. If you are paying cash please be prepared to have exact change as change will not be provided. The staff is very nice and respectful. I only have positive things to say about housekeeping as well. The laundry (towels and linens) are kept very clean and fresh sheets appear to be kept fresh. After I found out that the ownership had changed I was skeptical as I did not think that there would be much change and how this location was run. I was pleased to discover that I was incorrect in my assumption and will happily continue to be a customer of the Red Roof Inn Plus hotels!
It was unbelievably sound proof! I fully expected to hear the typical doors slamming around 6 am and never did! The blinds help the room stay so dark, and the bed was comfortable.
The people here are so nice and very accommodating they help in every way they can they need a raise. They need praise because they deserve it in a very big way. I have enjoyed my stay here. They’ve helped me in every way that they could, and they have done everything that I ever have asked for And wanted. Please recognize them.

I have been staying at this Red Roof for years due to doctrine at Barnes Jewish Hospital. It’s under new ownership now and they are wonderful people and they treat me so kind I feel like I’m coming home. Some of the rooms need some updating but I feel like they do the best they can with what they have at the time. For me it’s location location location and the friendliness of the staff that bring me back again and again !
I was greeted by KALA, she helped me get everything I needed to check in, and even personally made sure I recieved extra amenities as requested before check in! Wonderful service! And extremely helpful!
